feels like winter
It has tried to snow twice already in the last few weeks. The flakes have come down, but they haven't stuck. I love the snow and I am ready for it this year. It has been a long time since it has been cold enough in Portland this early in the winter for snow. I hope that means we have a nice white winter. I can remember as a kid going sledding during "snow days" off from school. We used to get a significant amount every year. That seemed to stop when I was about 12. Ever since then, winter means rain, clouds and maybe a slight dusting of snow that was gone about an hour after it landed. I want a real winter this year.
