Damn ... it's raining!

Nearly 3 inches of rain in the last 24 hours, and it just keeps coming down.

I had to walk across downtown on my lunch break today to pick up my old glasses. On the way there I had to walk around huge puddles, my socks got wet and my umbrella turned inside out a few times. I was also stopped on the street by a news reporter who interviewed me. I watched the news after work but apparently the election, flooding on the coast anddowned trees and powerlines are all more important and visually exciting than my interview.

I know this is Oregon, but this is way more rain than usual. It's unbearable.
